Why timing matters

A missing tooth doesn't stay a simple gap for long.

Once a tooth is gone, the jawbone underneath it has nothing left to chew against — and bone that isn't loaded starts to resorb. That's why implants placed years after tooth loss sometimes need extra planning that an early implant wouldn't.

  • 01
Months 1–6: The bone socket begins to remodel; width loss starts even before it's visible.
  • 02
Year 1–3: Noticeable ridge shrinkage; neighbouring teeth may start to tilt into the gap.
  • 03
3+ years: Significant bone loss can rule out a conventional implant — grafting, basal, or zygomatic techniques become the relevant options.
  • 04
At any stage: An X-ray and bone density check tells us exactly which route applies to you — no guessing.

Dental implant cost

What actually decides your implant cost

Every quote we give is different, because every mouth is different — there's no single "implant price," only a price for your specific case. These are the variables that move it up or down.

Biggest factor

How many teeth

A single tooth implant costs a fraction of a full-arch solution like All-on-4 — the per-tooth cost drops as the number of implants and complexity goes up.

Bone quality

Grafting, or none

If bone loss means a graft is needed before the implant can be placed, that's a separate line item that a straightforward case wouldn't need.

Technique

Implant system used

Conventional, basal, and zygomatic implants use different techniques and materials, priced differently based on your bone condition and case complexity.

Because these variables change the total so much case to case, we don't publish flat prices — you'll get an exact, itemised figure after a clinical assessment and X-ray, with no obligation to proceed.

Treatment options

Every case is a different amount of missing tooth — and bone.

Below are the implant approaches we plan around most often. Each has its own page with full detail; here's which one is likely relevant to you.

Single tooth

Standard implant

One titanium post, one crown. The default option when bone volume is healthy and only one tooth is missing.

Full arch

All-on-4 / All-on-6

Four to six implants supporting a full fixed arch of teeth — for patients missing most or all teeth in a jaw.

Learn more →
Bone loss

Basal implants

Anchored deeper in denser bone, often allowing immediate loading without grafting — suited to long-standing bone loss.

Learn more →
Severe bone loss

Zygomatic implants

Anchored in the cheekbone instead of the upper jaw — an option when the upper jaw has too little bone left for grafting.

Learn more →
Removable

Implant overdenture

A denture that clips onto 2–4 implants for stability — more affordable than a fixed full arch, still far more secure than a regular denture.

Learn more →
Multiple teeth

Implant-supported bridge

Two implants supporting a bridge of three or more teeth — fewer implants than replacing each tooth individually.

Questions

Before you book a consult

How much does a dental implant cost in Bangalore?

It depends on how many teeth are involved, whether bone grafting is needed, and which implant system suits your case — a single tooth and a full-arch All-on-4 are priced very differently. We give an exact, itemised quote after an X-ray and consultation, with no obligation.

What's the difference between basal and conventional implants?

Conventional implants sit in the upper jawbone and usually need 3–6 months to fuse before the crown goes on. Basal implants anchor in deeper, denser bone, which can allow same-day loading and work well for patients with bone loss who'd otherwise need grafting.

Can I still get implants if I've had bone loss for years?

Usually, yes. Depending on how much bone remains, we plan around it with grafting plus a conventional implant, basal implants that avoid the affected area, or — for severe upper jaw loss — zygomatic implants anchored in the cheekbone.

How long do dental implants last?

The titanium post itself can last 20+ years, often a lifetime, with normal oral hygiene and regular check-ups. The crown on top typically lasts 10–15 years before it needs replacing due to wear.

Is the procedure painful?

Implant placement is done under local anaesthesia, so the procedure itself isn't painful. Mild soreness for a few days afterward is normal and manageable with standard pain relief.

Get a bone assessment before you decide anything.

A single X-ray tells us which of the options above actually applies to your case — no obligation, no upsell.
